It’s time for the bunny hop, or at least it is time to display your bunnies. I have collected my spring bunnies over several years. Like real bunnies that hop all over the yard, they are often featured in different areas of our home each year. Take a look at how I placed some of the bunnies around our home for Spring 2019!
The chenille bunny found a home in an old worn chair in the corner of the dining room.
Sometimes my much loved sock monkey hangs out with the chenille bunny.
The large faux chocolate covered bunny is featured on top of the right side of an old, black, iron scale.
Two miniature faux chocolate bunnies accent a wire basket filled with pip berries in front of my China on another bookshelf. I always include favorite items on my book shelves that bring me joy. The antique child's sewing machine and Willi Rae figurine are two such favorites.
Speaking of faux chocolate bunnies—I found these faux chocolate bunny molds. They sit in and beside a metal tray on top of the china hutch. Don’t you love the mother bunny and baby bunny rubbing noses ?
This little rabbit found himself in a coal bucket filled with forsythia, lavender, and pussy willows. I propped Mr. Rabbit up on some books so he could be seen in this field of flowers.
The mother rabbit with the little rabbit sniffing a flower is my favorite cookie jar. (Unlike the bunnies in my garden, these two are only sniffing the flowers, not eating them for a snack!)
I bought this cute little cabbage leaf and bunny dish this year at TJ Maxx. I like to have a landing place for my rings when I am cooking.
I purchased a matching cabbage dish for my bedroom nightstand. It makes a perfect place to keep the remote and my reading glasses.
My garden bunny with his cabbage wheelbarrow can be found in a dough bowl in the dining room. He was featured in the post of "Sharing Some 'Egg-cellent' Ideas!" Click HERE to see the post.
Peter Rabbit with his apron advertising Chocolate Marshmallow Bunnies since 1914 is the newest addition to my spring bunny collection. Isn't he a cutie?
You may have noticed that I refer to my bunnies as my "spring bunny collection". A few of them, like this dapper guy, will be displayed throughout the spring. He is just too, cute and too, special to be just an Easter bunny. I will keep him out to welcome everyone to our home!
Happy Spring and Happy Decorating!
